제목 Natural Rubber Latex-Portland Cement Solidification of stabilized elemental mercury wastes
초록 Generally, Elemental mercury wastes are treated by reacting with Sulfur. This treatment converts Elemental mercury into mercuric sulfide form. Mercuric sulfide is a powder which is highly insoluble in water and aqueous solvent under normal conditions. However, the products of this treatment are powders, which require further treatment to make them non-dispersible. Natural Rubber Latex-Portland Cement (NRC) Solidification makes mercuric sulfide powder non-dispersible. And NRC can reduce potential threat of sulfur by vulcanizing. We solidified stabilized mercuric sulfide which contains sulfur by Natural Rubber Latex-Portland Cement. And We vulcanized this solid by using vulcanizer and heat.
