In this work, we designed a novel holographic photopolymers of organic/inorganic hybrid interpenetrating networks (IPNs), in which hard inorganic networks are distributed within the soft organic networks. The distribution of hard inorganic networks within soft organic networks resulted in the considerable reduction of volume shrinkage, although overall crosslink density is low. Soft organic networks allowed the fast monomer diffusion for photopolymerization. By using these hybrid IPNs, we developed photopolymers that exhibit low volume shrinkage as well as high diffraction efficiency. |
