제목 Very Thin Dielectric Layers for Low-Voltage Organic Thin-Film Transistor Applications
초록 Very thin self-assembled or spin-on organic dielectric films have been integrated into OTFTs to achieve 1 2 V operating voltages. These new dielectrics are deposited either by layer-by-layer solution phase deposition of molecular precursors or by spin-coating a mixture of polymer and crosslinker, resulting in smooth and virtually pinhole-free thin films having exceptionally large capacitances (300-700 nF/cm2) and low leakage currents (10-9 10-7 A/cm2). These organic dielectrics are compatible with various vapor- or solution-deposited p- and n-channel organic semiconductors. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that spin-on crosslinked-polymer-blend dielectrics can be employed for large-area/patterned electronics, and complementary inverters.
