제목 The control of the work function of indium tin oxide using surface modifier in organic photovotaics
초록 In polymer bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic photovoltaics, an important factor in determining the device performance is the charge transport in active layer. Indium tin oxide (ITO) is commonly used as the anode due to it is good transparency, and low resistivity. However, the work function of untreated ITO is generally in the range of 4.5 - 4.7eV. The surface modifier of ITO is improved the hole transportation because of the control of the work function of ITO. We synthesized pentafluorobenzylphosphonic acid for used that surface modification of ITO. After treating the ITO with the pentafluorobenzylphosphonic acid, work function increased at 4.9±0.5eV. As a result, improve hole transportation, enhancements of current density and power conversion efficiency.
