제목 Functional Polymer and Nanomaterial-based Composite Films for Thermoelectric Application
초록 Organic thermoelectric materials that can generate electricity from low-grade thermal energy have been actively investigated owing to their apparent advantages of light weight, natural abundance, facile processablility, and mechanical flexibility. Herein, the development of thermoelectric composite films is discussed with the consideration of various polymer-based systems that provide good mechanical and electrical functionalities. A clever strategy for structural design of polymer semiconductors and doping the semiconductors with proper organic molecules enable to fabricate functional thermoelectric composite films; for example, self-healable and stretchable thermoelectric films. In addition, current researches on the organization of hydrogel and filler composite system will be briefly discussed for functional thermoelectric application. These works can provide the feasibility of functional polymer-based composites in potential application to practical energy harvesting in wearable electronic systems.
