제목 | OPTIMUM CONDITIONS OF MICROBUBBLES OPERATION FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT: A SHORT REVIEW. |
초록 | Microbubbles process is an emerging technology that gives rise to enormously researches over the past decades. Microbubbles are known to be effective to remove particulate pollutants in wastewater and even in seawater. Nevertheless, the application of microbubbles to the water treatment industry is still challenging due to the lack of information on the optimum conditions. Accordingly, this paper reviews the current status and future prospects of the microbubble-based water treatment technology. The effect of operating conditions including the types of water used, the zeta potential, chemical dosage, the types of gas utilized, the running time, and the pH range on the water treatment efficiency was investigated. |
