제목 Synthesis and Properties of Sulfonated Poly (arylene ether sulfone)  Multiblock Copolymer Containing Perfluorocyclobutane(PFCB) groups for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells  
초록 Sulfonated poly (arylene ether sulfone) multiblock copolymers containing perfluorocyclobutane(PFCB) groups were synthesized and evaluated for application in proton exchange membrane fuel cell. The hydroxyl terminated hydrophilic and hydrophobic oligomers were prepared by polycondensation reaction of hydroquinone 2-potassium sulfonate and sulfonated 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone, and 4,4'-biphenol and 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone , respectively. These hydroxy terminated oligomers were then end-capped by 4-trifluorobinyloxyphenol. The block copolymers containing PFCB groups were synthesized using thermal cyclodimerization of trifluorovinyl ether functional units of oligomers. The block lengths and feed ratios were controlled for various ion-exchange capacity (IEC). Membranes were cast from a polymer dissolved DMSO or DMAc solution and characterized by determining the IEC, water uptake, proton conductivity and cell performance.
