제목 | An Alternate Structure of Ternary Distillation System |
초록 | A new arrangement of distillation columns having liquid composition profile similar to one of residue curves for the separation of ternary mixtures is proposed. The performance of the system is examined with energy consumption by comparing with conventional and the Petlyuk distillation columns. An industrial system is applied in the evaluation. From the comparison of energy requirement, it is found that the proposed system has a comparable efficiency. Though additional control loops are necessary for the prefractionation column, the controllability is better that the Petlyuk which has high thermodynamic efficiency. |
