Synthesis and Functionalization of poly(furfuryl isocyanate)-b-poly(n-hexyl isocyanate) Block copolymer by Living Anionic Polymerization |
초록 |
Furan ring is one of the most useful reactive functional groups. Thus, the furan has attracted the attention due to cycloadditions reaction with various π bonds. Poly(furfuryl isocyanate) can be easily utilized by Diels-Alder reaction with furan and dienophiles. After poly(furfuryl isocyanate) and poly(furfuryl isocyanate)-b-poly(n-hexyl isocyanate) (PFIC-b-PHIC) were synthesized by anionic polymerization. The molecular weight distribution of polymers was ≤ 1.2 and molecular weight was controllable. Synthesized block polymers demonstrated the self-assembly, and the phase separation in selective solvent of one block was verified using TEM. PFIC and PFIC-b-PHIC were reacted with N-phenyl maleimide and C60. Especially, maleimide is one of the most useful dienophiles. After PFIC and its block copolymer reacted with functionalized maleimide, C60, or other functional materials, it can be expected to apply for various research fields. |
