제목 Controlled release of insect pheromone in silica gel matrices for mating disruption
초록  A technology of agriculture is developed, but various pesticides are used constantly. The use of pesticides is leaded to worker’s health problem and environmental pollution. To improve these problems, new method for insect prevention is researched like Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Mating disruption is a useful tool that should be used in IPM. The principle of mating disruption is to attract male insect that mistake artificial pheromone for real female insect pheromone. In this research, we developed the dispenser that is controllable release rate of artificial pheromone. The release pattern is important for effective application and is needed to release artificial pheromone beyond the reaction volume in males for a long time. Therefore, silica matrices was synthesized with changing ratio of precursors. We analyzed amount of released pheromone from silica matrices by GC-MS and found characteristics of silica matrices that made under different ratio of precursors.
