제목 Comparative study of SBA-15 synthesized in batch and micro flow reactors for phosphate removal
초록 Previously, mesoporous silica materials have been synthesized in batch reactors. However, the batch reactor requires long reaction time and special cares to get homogeneous products. On the other hand, when mesoporous silica is synthesized using a micro-flow reactor, it can be expected that high quality materials are synthesized in short reaction time. It can generate significant commercial benefits.
In this work, a typical mesoporous silica, SBA-15, has been prepared in batch and micro flow reactors. The synthesized silica materials are characterized by XRD, BET and TEM. The equilibrium and kinetic experiments are carried out to check the adsorption capacity of phosphate. By comparing the experimental results using the samples, it is confirmed that the materials synthesized in the flow reactor had almost the same characteristics as the materials synthesized in the batch reactor.
