More and more, we require that the tightness of particle packing and the uniformity of phosphor films play important roles in improving the brightness of PDPs. From these points of view, we experimentally compared the surface uniformity and the photoluminescence intensity of the phosphor films made from both the paste prepared using the optimized dispersant, versus films made with no dispersant. Specifically, two kinds of BAM(the phosphor powder employed in this study) films, prepared by using the paste without dispersant and by using the paste with OPE10-COOH were used in photoluminescence tests. |
