제목 Symmetry in PNIPAAm/AAm Double Network Hydrogels Controlling Thermo-response Drug Release
초록 Double network hydrogel with different axis of symmetry, consisting of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAAm) as the first network and poly(acrylamide)(PAAm) as the second, was synthesized by free radical polymerization. PAAm connected with interpenetrating network(IPN) was used to slacken a rapid temperature response of the IPN. The first hydrogel which has lower critical solution temperature(LCST) was prepared by using NIPAAm and clay as an inorganic crosslinker. AAm was infiltrated in order to photocrosslink PAAm in the pre-crosslinked hydrogel phase. N,N′-methylene-bis-acrylamide in AAm solution crosslinked PAAm at a second UV curing step. Irgacure2959 was used as the initiator in each step. Uniaxial compression tests revealed that the concentrations of PAAm could control mechanical properties. Swelling ratio suggests that the result hydrogel could have thermo-response behavior in a long term. The positions of pivot related with drug release were demonstrated by UV-vis spectroscopy.
