제목 Thermomechanical properties and shape memory effects of maleated ethylene-octene copolymer/nylon 11 blends
초록 Maleated ethylene-octene copolymer(mPOE)/nylon 11 blends were prepared by melt-blending process. POE-g-nylon 11 graft copolymers were found to form during melt-blending process, which was verified by molau tesing. The crystallization and melting behaviour, dynamic mechanical properties and phase morphology were investigated by DSC, DMA, tensile test and SEM. The mPOE/nylon 11 blends with 10~40 wt% of nylon 11 exhibited thermoplastic elastomer behaviour and good shape memory effects. The nylon 11 segments serve as physical crosslinks, forming stable network structure for the graft copolymers and melting temperature of semicrystalline POE segments determines the switching temperature.
