제목 Asymmetric Polymerization and Synthesis under Chiral Nematic Liquid Crystal Reaction Field
초록 We prepared a chemically stable chiral nematic liquid crystal (N*-LC) as an asymmetric reaction solvent for synthesis of helical polyacetylene (PA). The hierarchical helical structures of PA are precisely controlled by changing the screw degree or direction of the N*-LC reaction field.  We extended the usage of N*-LC reaction filed to synthesis of helical aromatic conjugated polymers with circularly polarized fluorescence and to asymmetric synthesis such as Claisen rearrangement reaction and SN1 reaction.
