제목 | Polyvinyl fluoride nanofiltration membrane blend with functionalized zeolite nanoparticle for effective pollutant removal |
초록 | Membrane filtration is an effective method for the removal of pollutant from wastewater. The functionalized nanozeolite was synthesized using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES), and Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for the fabrication of membrane. The nanofiltration membrane was fabricated by intermingle with various concentrations of APTES grafted nanoscale zeolite. The obtain membrane was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) for morphology and functional group identification, respectively. The membrane performance was investigated by measuring the removal efficiency of the toxic industrial dye and heavy metal in detail.
