Porous materials are of great interest due to their potential applications for gas storage, pollution removal, and drug delivery. Especially, the research for gas storage material has been extensive because of the futuristic vision of using hydrogen as the primary transport fuel. Microporous materials such as activated carbons, zeolites, and metal-organic-frameworks have been investigated for this purpose. In this study, we used cyanuric chloride and various diols as a building block and prepared porous hypercross-linked polymers. The thermal property, morphology, and pore structure of the polymers were investigated. |
