제목 Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) synthesis from Escherichia coli.
초록 Among PHA copolymers, bacterial polyesters accumulated in bacteria, poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) is one of important copolymers because of its high flexibilty. So far, for the production of the polymer, adding of second auxiliary carbon source was needed. However, the toxicity of auxiliary carbon source makes it very hard to maintain the growth of polymer producing bacteria. Thus we developed the E.coli that can stably synthesize 3HB-CoA and 3HV-CoA in controlled ratio from glucose without the feeding of exogenous auxiliary carbon source by metabolic engineering. [This work was supported by the Technology Development Program to Solve Climate Changes on Systems Metabolic Engineering for Biorefineries from the Ministry of Science, ICT through the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea (NRF-2012M1A2A2026556 and NRF-2012M1A2A2026557).]
