제목 The hydrolytic degradation study of biodegradable synthetic Polydioxanone(PDO) suture and conjugated suture
초록 The hydrolytic degradation study of biodegradable synthetic Polydioxanone(PDO) suture and conjugated suture was conducted in a phosphate buffer, pH 7.4 at 37°C and 45°C for 4months under shaking(60times/sec). The conjugated suture was a sea-island type suture and the sea portion was made of PDO polymer and the island portion was made of biodegradable terpolymer, Polydioxanone-block-Poly(Trimethylene Carbonate-co-Caprolactone). The biodegradation properties were evaluated by analyzing the changes in the elastic modulus using Tensile Tester, in the molecular weight using Gel Permeation Chromatograph, in the thermal properties using Differential Scanning Calorimeter, in the structure and composition using 1H-NMR, in the morphology using Scanning Electron Microscope and Optical Microscope, and in the pH using pH meter.
