제목 Preparation of Porous BCP/ t-ZrO2 Bone Substitutes by Sponge Replica Method
초록 Nano-sized Biphasic Calcium Phosphate (BCP) powder was synthesized using microwave hydrothermal process and subsequently mixed with 20vol% of t-ZrO2 powder by ball-milling. Porous BCP/t-ZrO2 bone substitutes were fabricated with the mixture powder by the sponge replica method. After mixing the ball-milled nano powder and poly vinyl butyral as a binder in alcohol, coating slurry was prepared. Coating conditions were compared depending on various concentrations of powder. Polyurethane foam was dipped into the slurry for coating then, the coated PU foam was burned out at 900ºC. Next, sintering was carried out at various temperatures. X-ray diffraction (XRD, D/MAX-250, Rigaku, Japan) analysis was performed to characterize the phase identification of the porous BCP/t-ZrO2 bone substitute. Compressive strength was measured using universal testing machine (UnitechTM, R&B, Korea). Microstructures of the PCL/BCP composites were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM, JEOL- JSM-7401F).
