Side chain sulfonated poly(arylene ether ketone) proton exchange membrane for PEMFC |
초록 |
A series of poly(arylene ether ketone) possesses functional carboxylic groups at the pendant side was synthesized via nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction. The proton conducting segments was added to the side chain by amidation reaction between carboxylic group of polymer chain and amine group of sulfonated 3,3-Diphenylpropylamine. All the membranes exhibited higher proton conductivity and formed bigger ionic cluster compare to commercial Nafion 117 resulted from the sulfonated flexible side chain. The set of membrane’s properties including water uptake, thermal and mechanical stability was studied to evaluate the ability of applying membrane as a poly electrolyte membrane in PEMFC. |
