Pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) have a range of applications in industry, such as medical products, air craft, electric devises and optical products. In particular, the PSA in always necessary in order to reduce the weight of the display. Recently, the display industry is steadily ongoing research to develop a flexible display. However, PSA, because it is a sensitive material, factors that determine this physical properties are very divers. Therefore, in order to develop an adhesive for flexible displays are required factor studies that can affect the PSA. In this research, we investigated the mechanical properties of PSAs which is consisted of the reactive monomers and evaluated the crosslink system of acrylic PSAs resulting from the different amount of the polyisocyanate crosslinking agent. Peel, tack and lap shear showed the adhesive properties of the crosslinked acrylic PSAs by using texture analyzer. PSA flexibility performance was analyzed in stress relaxation and creep tests. For that we decided its application possibility for the adequate materials in flexible display industry. |
