제목 Synthesis of folic acid based-carbon quantum dots through simple microwave treatment
초록 Carbon quantum dots (CQDs), one of the important carbon nanomaterials, have attracted a lot of resaerch interests due to their superior optoelectrical performance, dispersion stability in aqeuous media, excellent biocompatibility and low toxicity. Recently, CQDs have been used in a wide range of applications including biosensor, bioimaing, and cancer cell targeting. Highly fluorescent and water-soluble CQDs have been prepared from folic acid as a kind of A2B type polyamidation monomer through   simple microwave treatment by using household microwave oven. Resulting folic acid-based CQDs is highly promising in many applications such as targeted drug delivery systems for the diagnosis and therapy of cancers. 2017년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음.
