Change of water-resistance properties of PA66/mPPO/GF composites using compatibilizer |

In automobile industries, there have been steady efforts to replace parts from metals to plastics. Long glass fiber reinforced polyamide66 (PA66) composite is one of the representative examples. In order to solve a problem of poor water-resistance of PA, blending with polymers, which have high water-resistance has been studied. The effect of adding compatibilizer to PA66/mPPO/GF composites will be studied by measuring water absortion rate, mechanical properties using UTM, morphology using SEM and thermal properties using DSC analysis. |
