Studies on polyaniline (PANI) nanofibers attracted much attention due to their potential application in sensor materials. Recently, PANI nanofibers obtained via an interfacial polymerization became prevailing based on the template-free method. In this study, we synthesized the PANI nanofibers doped with 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (AMPSA) which was less described in the literature by using interfacial polymerization. We characterized the morphology of the obtained PANI nanofibers by SEM, TEM, as well as the physical properties by FT-IR, and TGA. In addition, we also obtained the turbiscan data to describe how the reactant performed during the interfacial polymerization. |
