제목 Computational Model Polydiacetylenes: Their Assembly, Polymerization, and Function
초록 Diacetylene-based assemblies and their polymerized forms, polydiacetylenes, have gained huge attention since reported its first use as an influenza virus biosensor by Charych. Her team initiated to begin utilizing the polydiacetylene bilayer assembly as a target receptor as well as a signal reporter. This concept has further evolutionized by Jelinek, mimicking natural cells. Continuous sensing has also become enabled by creation of reversible optical function by controlling molecular interactions, introduced by Ahn and Kim. Since then, there have been enormous fantastic reports on this conjugated polymer, however researchers face difficulties quite often in making use of this matter to meet their research intents, mainly due to the lack of comprehensive mechanism and model prediction. This talk covers our efforts for experiments-inspired development of the first computational model of the polydiacetylenes revealing mechanisms of their assembly, polymerization, and optical function.
