Methodology for the Synthesis of 1,2,3-Triazole-embededCopolyether Polyol via Azide-Alkyne "Click" Functionalization |

Novel synthetic methodology for the 1,2,3-triazole-embedded Copolyether polyol was provided by the wide spectrum of azide-alkyne "Click" chemistry. This click reaction has very mild reaction conditions and insensitive to water and oxygen. The triazole shave high heat of formation (△Hf°=1,2,3-triazole : 273KJ/mol) and triazole based salts are used as energetic materials. 1,2,3-Triazole-embedded polyetherdiol could be synthesized by copper-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition using the glycidyl azide polymer(GAP) and alkyne group containing triple bond at room temperature. The GAP or poly(GAP-co-THF) were converted easily with alkyne in high yield >95% in presence of TEA base to obtain the high viscous 1,2,3-triazole-embedded Copolyrther polyol without any noticed change of difunctionality. The structure and the composition of synthesized copolymers have been characterized by 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The molecular weight distribution of their Copolymer have been analyzed by GPC. |
