제목 Characteristics of Embedded Silver nanocrystals for Polymer Photovoltaic device
초록 Recently, many researchers have studied to improve power conversion efficiency (PCE) of polymer solar cell (PSC). PSC has attracted attention as a renewable energy source because PSC has many advantages, possibility of producing flexible devices, large area fabrication available, low fabrication cost, low process temperatures and so on. In order to improve the efficiency of PSC, we used metal nanocrystals (NCs). By using metal NCs, optical absorption and photo current generation in the active layer are increased over broad range of visible wavelengths. We tested PSC performance through Ag NCs thickness variation, 3nm to 7nm. The device structures are indium tin oxide (ITO)/Ag/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)/poly(3-hexylthiophene):phyenyl-C61-butylric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PCBM)/BCP/LiF/Al. The current density-voltage(J-V) were analyzed under AM 1.5G solar illumination at 100mW/cm2(1 sun). We observed maximum 4.723% of PCE at Ag 6nm. But the PCE without Ag NCs is 3.167%. Other parameters of PSC with Ag 6nm are short-circuit current(JSC) of 11.46mA/cm¬2, open-circuit voltage(VOC) of 0.655V, and fill factor(FF) of 62.9% of PSC. The PSC improved respectively by JSC 29.23%, FF 6.68% and PCE 32.95% than without Ag NCs.
