Polymer solar cells with solution processable active layer show a promising future in large area, flexible, low cost, and light-weight application. Poly (ethylenedioxy-thiophene)(PEDOT) electrodes was prepared on the flexible poly(ethylene-naphthalate)(PEN) film substrate using by vapor-phase polymerization. The thickness and morphology of PEDOT electrode were examined as a function of monomer and oxidant-concentration and polymerization time and confirmed by atomic force microscopy(AFM). On the PEDOT electrode deposited the active layer of poly (3-hexyl-thiophene) / [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methylester (P3HT/PCBM) by spin coating. The prepared polymer photovoltaic device was annealed at 150℃ for 10min. The properties of the device were characterized by the short-circuit (Jsc), open-circuit(Voc), fill factor(FF), and power conversion efficiency(PCE) under AM 1.5 illumination at 100mA/cm2. |
