Common solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) are more stable than gel polymer electrolytes, but not entirely free from the fault of lower ionic conductivity. To improve the low ionic conductivity of SPEs, we have introduced polymerinsalt system with the ion hopping mechanism through ion percolation path. However, polymer-in-salt system has considerable disadvantages that are poor mechanical properties with increasing salt concentration. So we introduced network structure into polymer to solve this problem. In this study, we prepared networked polymer electrolytes consisting of poly(hydroxylethyl methacrylate) (p(HEMA)), lithium triflate (LiCF3SO3, LiTf) and hydrochloric acid(HCl) as acid catalyst. SPEs were fabricated on a stainless steel electrode by solution casting method. And the electrochemical properties and mechanical properties of p(HEMA)-based SPEs were investigated by using ac impedance analyzer and universal testing machine. |
