제목 manufacture methods of polymeric particles using an ultrasonic generator
초록 Polymeric nano/micro particles have been attracted because these particles have high surface areas. For reactive polymers which has include the specific functional groups on their chemical structure, reactivity increases because the functional groups are exposed more. So polymeric nano/micro particles are used for many industrial field. Although emulsification was used for general fabrication methods of polymeric particle, we used sonication because this method is very easy to carry out the experiment, and it can decrease experiment time. In addition, this method is easier to control particles size than the emulsification method. We have fabricated poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and azido-thermoplastic urethane (ATPU) polymeric particle. We studied the morphology change of polymeric particles depending on the variables, like polymeric solution concentration, non-solvent, and washing solution. We analyzed the morphology of polymeric particles through SEM.
