제목 Li4Ti5O12/Carbon Core-Shell nanofibers as anode material for fast rechargeable lithium ion batteries
초록 The electrospinning process was used to fabricate PVP nanofibers in which precursors for Li4Ti5O12(LTO) were embedded with ammonium persulfate as oxidant. Polypyrrole(Ppy) was polymerized on the electrospun nanofibers using vapor polymerization process to introduce core-shell structure. The LTO/carbon core-shell nanofibers were obtained by calcination of the electrospun and vapor-polymerized nanofibers at 900 °C for 6 hrs after elimination of polymer and oxidant at 400 °C. They were characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, electrical conductivity measurement, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The electrochemical performance of these LTO/Carbon core-shell nanofibers was examined with a galvanostatic cell cycler at various charge/discharge rates. Electrochemical impedance analysis demonstrated that the surface reaction kinetics of LTO/carbon core-shell structure was improved with the increase of its electrical conductivity.
