제목 Automatic Multi-domain Vertical Alignment of Liquid Crystal by Inducing Pretilt Angles for Enhancement of Electro-optic Properties
초록 For fabrication of automatically vertical alignment (VA) of liquid crystal (LC), dendritic amphiphile monomer based on itaconic acid (Ita3C12) was designed and synthesized. For the construction of multi-domain VA with pretilt angles for enhancement of electro-optic properties, Ita3C12 and methacryl polyhedral oligomeric silsequioxane (MAPOSS) were crosslinked by irradiation of UV light under electric field generated by fishbone patterned electrodes (PS auto-VA). Mainly because of the pretilted NLC at zero voltage, the electro-optic properties of the PS auto-VA cell. Furthermore, we confined that the surficial properties of the PS auto-VA cell aspect of physical and chemical interaction.
