Synthesis and electrochemical property of chelating group-modified graphene supported Pt nanocomposites |

Pt nanocomposites were studied between pristine graphene oxide supported Pt nanocomposites and a modified graphene oxide supported Pt nanocomposites. All Pt nanocomposites were synthesized by a polyol method and the modified graphene oxide was prepared by EthyleneDiamine-TetraAcetate(EDTA-2Na) as modifier agent. The morphology and crystallinity of the synthesized materials were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FT-IR). The physical properties of Pt nanocomposites were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. The electrochemical properties of Pt nanocomposites were confirmed by cyclic voltammetries (CVs). The fundamental electrochemical test results indicated that the electrocatalytic activities of a modified graphene supported Pt nanocomposites were enhanced in comparison to the pristine graphene oxide supported Pt nanocomposites. |
