Thermal property and antimicrobial acitivity of polysaccharide/silver/montmorillonite multifunctional nanofibers |

In this study, a pioneering work is reported about the effect of silver nanoparticles on the structure and morphology, as well as the thermal stability of the obtained pullulan/silver/montmorillonite hybrid nanofibers putting to some purpose the electrospinning and high speed jet-spinning techniques. XRD results and SEM, TEM images propose the coexistence of pullulan, silver, and montmorillonite through intercalation of montmorillonite sheets in the hybrid nanofibers.
