제목 Synthesis and Characterization of A-D-A Type Small-molecule Dyes for Organic Solar Cells
초록 We synthesized the conjugated small-molecule-donor materials used in organic solar cells, based on Indacenodithieno[3,2-b]thiophene (IDTT) and chromone derivatives, named SMD1 (without fluorine) and SMD2 (with fluorine). In the case of IDTT having a chromone derivative, which is an electron accepting group, light absorption is increased by forming an effective ICT by the derivative, effectively forming a strong push-pull structure.
SMD2 shows higher efficiency than SMD1. In addition, when the processing additive DIO was included, the performance of the device was significant reduced. The energy levels of HOMO and LUMO of SMD1 were -5.33 and -3.56 eV. The energy levels of HOMO and LUMO of SMD2 were -5.39 and -3.50 eV. In reverse organic solar cells without DIO, PCEs of SMD1 / PC71BM and SMD2 / PC71BM were 1.03% and 2.23%, respectively.
