Synthesis and characterization of Quinoxaline derivative for Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence organic light emitting diodes |

A novel Donor-Acceptor-Donor (D-A-D) type Quinoxaline derivative, 9-(2-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)quinoxalin-3-yl)-9H-carbazole (DCQ) was designed and synthesized. Its spectroscopic, photophysical and electrochemical properties were investigated. DCQ was employed as a yellow host material for thermally activated delayed florescence (TADF) organic light emitting diodes. It also possess good electron as well as hole mobility. Moreover DCQ as a host exhibits excellent device performance with a maximum quantum efficiency (EQE) of 24.6% and current efficiency of 79.3 cd/A at 3000 cd/m2. |
