제목 Modification of high density polyethylene with polyurethane by radiation-induced grafting  
초록 Graft polymerization is an excellent way to improve the miscibility between PU and commodity polymers. Furthermore, radiation-induced grafting techniques provide several advantages such as uniform grafting compositions, room temperature processing. In this study, the radiation grafting of polyurethane (PU) onto high density polyethylene (HDPE) matrix was carried out with maleic anhydride (MAH). The grafted composites were characterized by FT-IR as well as their surface morphology and thermal/mechanical properties. PU was easily introduced to HDPE via melt processing in a blender after radiation-induced grafting.
