제목 Core-Shell type nanorods prepared from polymer bilayer using AAO template
초록 In this study, we fabricated hexagonally packed core-shell nanorods consisting of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as a core and polystyrene (PS) as a shell by sequential wetting of bilayer PS/PMMA film inside anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) template. We found that a reactive bilayer consisting of PMMA with epoxy functional group and PS with carboxylic acid functional group is necessary to form well-defined core-shell nanorods. On the contrary, nonreactive bilayer without having functional groups could not generate the core-shell structure due to their non-spontaneous spreading (negative spreading coefficient). The sizes of the core and the shell were easily controlled by adjusting the thickness of each layer.
