In blending of polycarbonates(PC) and poly(1,4-cyclohexane-dimsthylene-1,4-cyclohexane-dicarboxylate) (PCCD) ,we assist ultrasound for branching effect. The change of Tg (glass-transition temperature) and NMR-spectrum were investigated with the experiment. The ultrasound from the processing operates as a strong energy unit, so, reactivity, thermal and mechanical properties of PC/PCCD blends are improved. In relation to this reactive blending, we could guess that if multi-functional agent (MFA) is added to improve branching effect. The complex viscosities and Cole-Cole plot revealed the characteristic features of branched structure, which was increasing in complex viscosities and shear-thinning behavior at the low frequency were observed by measuring viscosities with Plate-Plate rotational rheometer(AR-G2). Actually, we confirmed that branching effect was more improved by using MFA in blending than former experiment. |
