제목 | Highly sensitive detection of biomarker using 2D-nanoplasmonic array chip |
초록 | For the last decade, research advancements on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) have made the LSPR a sensitive tool for the applications of bio-medical diagnosis and environmental monitoring owing to its high sensitivity, label-free detection, small sample volumes, simple instrumentations and real-time detection. The LSPR biosensors are sensitive to changes in the refractive index near the interface between a metal nanostructure and an ambient medium. In this presentation, we demonstrate a highly sensitive detection of biomarker in human serum or pathogen suc as influenza using the LSPR biosensor. Metal nanodot array on a glass wafer were fabricated by UV nanoimprint lithography (NIL). After the NIL process using a film stamp and the removal of residual layer via oxygen plasma etching, metal films were deposited using an electron-beam evaporator, followed by the lift-off step. Consequently, we were able to fabricate various types of metal nanodot arrays on a glass wafer. Using these metal plasmonic materials, we show a feasibility of applying our metal nano structures to diagnostic and monitoring tools in the field of in-vitro diagnosis (IVD). |
