제목 Synthesize novel three dimensional organic metamaterial and its exotic optical property.
초록 Recently, many metamaterial researches are conducted. It demonstrates unique properties such as negative index, phase matching and super-lens that cannot be found from existing materials. Most of these studies have used conductors and semiconductors to fabricate regular and periodic structures, because of the limitations of fabrication method such as Chemical-Vapor-Deposition (CVD) and lithograph. However, it is very hard to fabricate transparent metamaterial with these raw materials. Here in, we report novel transparent metamaterial that are made from the organic molecules. To realize metamaterial from organic molecules, novel molecule was designed to have dimer which has six-coordinate sites and it can make three-dimensional structure with high regularity and periodicity. This molecular transparent metamaterial has effective permettivity of 0.18 at 220 nm and perfect transparency. Moreover, it shows amplified transmittance up to 3800%.
