제목 Recent Research Trends on Integrating Multiple Renewable Energy Sources and its PSE application
초록 Renewable energy sources are actively deployed all over the world as an alternative to climate change causing fossil fuels. Their deployments and their portion in the overall power generation is increasing. It is practically important to estimate the potential issues that might occur with the increasing dependence on renewable energies. The major drawback of renewables is the intermittency of the renewable power output. Actions should be prepared in order to minimize the impact of drawback without going back to fossil fuels. One such action is to gather multiple different types of renewables together with the addition of storage. The resulting integrating multiple energy source types including energy storage is often called hybrid renewable energy system (HRES). In this contribution, major previous works on HRES are investigate the key R&D directions from the perspective of process industry. There have been increasing interests on HRES and works are currently under way. However more systematic framework should be carried out to turn the interest into practically working systems.
