제목 Improved thermal conductivity of unsaturated polyester resin based nanocomposites for thermal degradation stability
초록 Polymer nanocomposites represent a rational alternative to conventionally filled polymers. Because of their nano-scale dispersion, nanocomposites exhibit markedly improved properties when compared with the pure polymers or conventional composites. The performance of unsaturated polyester resin (UP) has relatively poor mechanical properties, thermal stability, and flame retardant properties. The unsaturated polyester nanocomposites with difference amount (wt%=5,10,15) of fillers (MWCNTs, Si-aerogel, Carbon Black, MMT, Modified organic nanoclay) were prepared by resin transfer molding(RTM) method. The thermal properties of nanocomposites were analyzed using TGA and flame retardancy. As a result, modified organic nanoclay loaded UP showed decomposition temperature was dramatically increased compere to other fillers used.
