제목 Preparation of polystyrene based surface modifier through reversible addition and fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization technique and its application in polystyrene/gold nanoparticle composite films in organic memory devices
초록 This work focuses on the preparation of gold nanoparticles stabilized by thiol end-capped polystyrene and their applications in organic memory devices. The polystyrene was prepared through RAFT technique using dibenzyltrithiocarbonate (DBTTC) as a chain transfer agent. The structure of the polystyrene was characterized by GPC, GC, IR and NMR analysis. Using the thiol end-capped polystyrene, gold nanoparticles were successfully prepared through two-phase synthesis technique. Polystyrene thin films containing the nanoparticles were also prepared and applied to the fabrication of organic memory devices. The characteristics of the nanocomposites and devices were investigated and will be presented.
