제목 Preparation and characterization of hybrid porous SiO2 immobilized ZnO composite with desired properties for ECO rubber filler in the absence of surfactant
초록 Decreasing the amount of ZnO content in rubber mixing is highly needed in tire industry to prevent environmental pollution. In this work porous SiO2 immobilized ZnO nanoparticle which can be used as eco rubber filler was exquisitely prepared. Initially, a porous SiO2 was simply synthesized from tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) in basic medium and then added in the immediate reaction during ZnO precursors to obtain nanosized ZnO-porous SiO2 composite followed by subsequent calcination at 430℃ to obtain the final product. The nanomaterials were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and FT-IR analyses. Even without any dispersant, a homogeneous dispersion of ZnO nanoparticles in the porous SiO2 was registered.
