Novel titanium complexes chelated by tetradentate diamine–diethanolate ligand as catalysts for ring opening polymerization of L-lactide |
초록 |
Group IV metal complexes with [ONNO]-type tetradentate ligands include salan, salen, salalen, and salophan have been extensively studied. However, examples of aliphatic analogues for the salan ligand remain undeveloped in the literature. Here we report the synthesis and X-ray structure of LTi(O-i-Pr)2 and LTiCl2 complexes containing aliphatic salan ligand (HOCMe2CH2NMeCH2CH2NMeCH2CMe2OH) (LH2). Also, we will demonstrate that they could be effective catalysts for the controlled ring opening polymerization of L-lactide, as shown by the linearity of Mn of PLAs versus conversion, as well as narrow PDI values. |
