제목 | Study of CuO and Na2CO3 doped laser sealing glass for high absorption coefficient and CTE matching |
초록 | Laser sealing is the major technique in bonding two substrates using sealing glass with high absorption efficiency. Therefore, laser sealing in local areas of photonic devices is a key technology in order to achieve the high level of functionalization, miniaturization and durability. In the process of lase sealing, it is not easy to match CTE(less than 1.0x10-6/℃) between laser sealing glass and substrates. In addition, the laser sealing glass should have high absorption coefficient at the wavelength of laser diode used. Therefore, CuO and Na2CO3 were added into PSAB glass system in order to tune the properties of laser sealing glass such as CTE and absorption. In this work, 0.5wt% CuO doped PSAB glass system shown 98% absorption coefficient at 808nm, which of laser diode was used for laser sealing. As 3wt% Na2CO3 was doped 0.5wt% CuO-PSAB glass system (8.9x10-6/℃), CTE of 3wt% Na2CO3 and 0.5wt% CuO-PSAB glass become tuned into 9.9x10-6/℃. The obtained value is very similar to CTE of FTO coated substrate (10.23x10-6/℃). The of 3wt% Na2CO3 and 0.5wt% CuO-PSAB glass were screen printed and laser sealed on FTO coated substrate using 808nm laser diode. The local sealed spots were well bonded without cracks after being sealed. Considering those results obtained above, laser sealing glass developed in this work shows the potential candidate for sealing phonic devices. |
