제목 Cell-derived tethered lipid bilayer for a cell culture platform
초록 Tethering lipid bilayers derived from cell membranes on a substrate is a currently emerging strategy in biomedical systems due to their versatility. In this study, we fabricated a tethered lipid bilayer (tLB) on titanium using membranes from endothelial cells. Synthetic selenium catalyst was embedded within the tethered endothelial cell membrane by membrane fusion for continuous NO releasing system. The catalytic tLB promoted endothelial cell attachment and inhibited smooth muscle cell growth, which can be applied for cardiovascular devices. In the further study, we fabricated a culture system for stem cell differentiation on the tLB derived from pre-differentiated cells, which can facilitate the stem cell differentiation without induction using growth factors. Taken together, our tLB systems pave the way for the versatile cell culture platform for biomedical applications.
