제목 | Self-healable ImineBonds-based Hydrogels: Effects of Temperature and CO2 |
초록 | Most self-healing hydrogel require external stimuli, such as heat, pH, or light. However, exposing continuous stimuli to the hydrogel makes hydrogel weaker, and it is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome to commercialize self-healing hydrogel. To solve the problem, poly(DMAEMA-co-BA-co-MAcBA-co-HEMA)copolymer crosslinked by dynamic imine bond was proposed in this study. The imine bond formed by aldehyde group in MAcBA with amine cross linker is reversible at moderate conditions enable the materials self-healable. DMAEMA has the characteristic of changing the LCST according to the amount of CO2. In addition, the polymer is crosslinked with amine terminated PDMS to introduce excellent mechanical properties to the polymer.
